We even have our own TV show, "Cardinal Cam". 5th, 6th,
7th, and 8th graders do most of the filming,
interviewing, and reporting to produce our 10 minute
show, which is shown on our in-house cable system. |
Of course we practice typing in Computer Class, but we learn a lot of other things, too! Some of my favorites are using Paint to create tessellations, creating our own animated cartoons with sound effects, learning to do math with formulas in Excel, creating interactive multiple choice tests in PowerPoint, making word search puzzles in Excel, and designing our school yearbook using scrapbooking software. FUN, FUN, FUN!
