WEEK: Our OPEN HOUSE is scheduled
for Sunday, January 29, 2017 after the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The school will be open
to visitors until 1:30 p.m. and officially starts our recruiting and
registration process for next school year. Our Annual LaRosa’s Spaghetti Dinner
will be held on the evening of Monday, January 30, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00
p.m. in the cafeteria. All students and their families are invited and are
asked to “spread the good news” about St. Clement School and bring their
friends, families and neighbors for a visit. More details will follow.
SCHOOL RECEIVES THE “JEFFERSON AWARD” FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW: We are proud to announce that our school
has been awarded the “Jefferson Award” for the third year in a row from the
Mayerson Service Learning Initiative – Children’s Inc. for last school year (2015-16). In order to earn the award 70% or more of their student body (St. Clement
had 100% of students involved) actively investigated and planned service
learning projects to address real needs in locally and globally by applying
knowledge and skills learned in school. Students and teachers also reflected
upon the impact they have made in the community and evaluated the value and
outcomes as part of their studies. St. Clement School was one of the only Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to receive the
award this year. Congratulations to our
outstanding faculty on a job well done! The award plaque will be displayed in our
school entry hallway.
Catholic Charities of Southwestern Ohio "Organization of the Year"
St. Clement School was honored as the “Organization of the Year” in the Greater Cincinnati area for our efforts to reach out and help the Latino families in our area. Honored during the 2015-16 school year by the Su Casa Hispanic Center, a program of Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio, the leading organization in the Greater Cincinnati area serving Hispanic/Latino immigrants.
